The Spinal Stenosis is a pathology that is the narrowing of the spinal canal. This is usually a condition that develops with the development of age, although in rare circumstances, is present at birth. This condition can also be caused by arthritic changes, injury or surgery. The diagnosis of Spinal Stenosis is confirmed by tests such as MRI, CT or myelogram.

What are the effects of the Spinal Stenosis?

When the channel narrows the spinal column, nerves passing therethrough can be compressed which can cause pain in the lower back, or legs. The onset of symptoms may be slow or sudden.
